Clarinetist and 1920s orchestra leader. Recorded as Art Landry and his Orchestra on Gennett in 1923 and Art Landry and his Call of the North Orchestra on Victor from 1924 to 1927. Two records were also released on Gennett under the names Art Landry's Syncopatin' Six and the Regent Orchestra. He also had a group known as Art Landry and his Commodore Band. A photo shows them dressed in smart naval-type uniforms. The date of that ensemble is unknown, though it appears pre-1923.
